Rummikub is one of the most popular games in the world. The rules of the game are quite simple, but can you master the strategy that will eventually win the game?

At the start of the game, each player starts with 14 tiles, while the goal of the game is to play out all your tiles by setting them all into sets. There are two types of sets you can play. A set of three or more of the same number in different colors is called a group, while a set of three or more tiles of the same color in consecutive numbers is called a run.

The first time you play out your tiles, the total number of your tiles should be at least thirty points, taken from the value of each tile played. You can use Jokers but you cannot use any tiles already on the table. If jokers are played, their value is assumed from their position in the sets.

If you can’t play, you can take one tile from the pool by clicking the green button at the right-hand side of the screen and wait for your next turn.

There are many tactics you can use to play out your tiles beside playing full sets from your board:

Add-on: An add-on is played when you add one or more of your tiles to an existing set.

Forming new sets: This is played by taking one or more tiles from an existing set and combining it with your tiles to create a new set.

Add & Split: Add new tiles to an existing set while taking others from the same set to combine with your own tiles to create a new set.

Combined Split: Take tiles from more than one existing sets and combine with your own tiles to create a new set.

Multiple splits: Break existing sets apart to create new sets while adding your own tiles.
